Searcy’s has an amazing history, from an early catering business set up in London in 1847. Recognition came quickly with full order books and expansion, followed by a Royal Warrant for confectionery and wine in the late 19th c – making Searcy’s the top catering company in England. Today, Searcys is in residence at some of UK’s most iconic venues including Blenheim Palace, The Pump Room in Bath, The Gherkin, St Pancras International and many more. Besides running the venues for general customers Searcys also hosts over 800 events a year.
PowerEPOS have been working with Searcy’s for 12 years and enjoy a positive working relationship, supplying and maintaining the customer facing technology for 10 of their highest profile sites. Searcys’ first London post-COVID reopening in London was Saatchi Gallery Brasserie. In late July 2020 Searcys has The Saatchi Gallery Bar & Brasserie, close to Sloane Square and the Kings Road in Central London and is serving customers using the latest hand held tablet technology to improve service to outside tables on the large terrace, as well as complying with the new social distancing requirements. The sites all benefit from an easy to use solution that allows staff to serve customers without having to worry about the technology – it just works. Management is supported by a full reporting suite that gives real time information and allows decisions to be taken supported by the data.
